why i created this:

There’s a lot of talk about “nervous system regulation.”
But not a lot of structure. Not a lot of accessibility.
And very little embodiment.

I built The Steady Protocol™ because:

• I wanted you to have tangible learning, not just theory
• I wanted to offer flexibility, while still holding the momentum of a 4-week container
• I wanted to make space for both anonymity and interaction — you get to choose
• I believe change comes through consistency, not crash courses
• I know 4 weeks is long enough to track patterns, build habits, and feel real shifts
• I wanted this to be financially accessible, without compromising quality
Most of all: I wanted you to get to know your own nervous system, and start building a regulation toolbox that actually fits you.

Each week, you’ll explore a different piece of the regulation puzzle. We’ll begin with simple, clear explanations of how your nervous system works and what affects your sense of safety. From there, you’ll learn how to create more stability in your body, how to feel your feelings without shutting down, and how to gently release stored tension over time. No background knowledge needed — just an open mind and a little curiosity.

Each morning, you’ll receive an email with a 5-minute guided audio practice and a journal prompt to help you embody the week’s theme. These practices include somatic awareness activities, regulation tools, emotional capacity builders, and gentle release exercises. Your workbook provides space to track what you felt and reflect in a few sentences. Simple, doable, and powerfully supportive as you build steadiness — one day at a time.

who you’ll be learning from:

The Steady Protocol™ was created by Hunter Elyse, a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), Trauma-Informed Breathwork Facilitator, Trauma and Resilience Life Coach, and Certified Clinical Counsellor and Therapist in British Columbia, Canada.

Over the past three years I have been creating and refining this program, drawing on extensive training in trauma and the body, years of study across multiple modalities, and the trial-and-error of my own regulation practice. I have woven together the somatic tools, nervous system education, and trauma-informed practices that I use with clients every day.

My intention is to make this work clear, embodied, and practical so that you walk away with tools you not only understand but can truly feel making a difference in your life.

FAQ: Is The Steady Protocol Right for Me?

  • The Steady Protocol™ is a 4-week nervous system reset designed to help you understand your stress patterns, reconnect with your body, and build somatic self-trust. You’ll receive pre-recorded lessons, a printed workbook, daily journal prompts, guided audio practices, and access to two live sessions inside a shared container.

  • The Steady Protocol™ is $244 CAD plus applicable taxes, which are calculated based on your region. I chose this price with intention because I wanted to make the program as accessible as possible while still honouring the depth of what is included. For perspective, it costs less than two therapy sessions, yet you will receive four weeks of guided learning, a printed workbook, daily prompts, and two live group classes.

    I also chose the number 244 with care. In numerology, it represents safety, structure, and guided support, which are the foundations of this program.

    It is an energetic reminder that you do not have to figure it all out alone.

  • Nope! The two live virtual classes are optional and will be recorded for everyone who enrolls. The core content is delivered through weekly video lessons, daily email prompts, and the printed workbook. You can fully participate at your own pace, on your own time.

    For the October cohort, the 1 hour live sessions have been tentatively scheduled for (subject to change):

  • No. While the program is led by a trauma-informed, clinically trained counsellor and somatic therapist, The Steady Protocol™ is not therapy or a substitute for therapeutic treatment. It’s a psychoeducational and experiential journey designed to support self-awareness and self-regulation, not to treat or diagnose mental health conditions.

    This offering is structured more like a coaching-style psychoeducation group. Because of this, you will not be able to receive insurance reimbursement for participating.

  • No.The Steady Protocol™ is an educational and experiential program, not a therapy service. Even though it is led by a registered counsellor and somatic therapist, it’s offered in a coaching-style format and therefore cannot be billed to insurance or extended health benefits.

    The upside? This makes the program accessible worldwide and outside the limits of healthcare systems — so anyone can join, no matter where they’re located.

  • All course content is hosted on Thrivecart Learn and delivered through a combination of pre-recorded video lessons, daily immersion emails, and your printed workbook (mailed to your physical address). The two live classes will be held on Zoom, with replays available for everyone.

    All you need is internet access and a mailing address to participate.

  • The Steady Protocol™ is a 4-week (28-day) program. You will want to set aside about 10 to 20 minutes each day for the daily practices, and about 45 minutes each week to watch the video lesson. The program is intentionally designed to be sustainable and gentle so that you can integrate it into real life without feeling overwhelmed.

  • All sales are final. Because this is a digital program held within a shared energetic container, refunds are not available. Please make sure the offering feels aligned for you before enrolling.
